Welcome to StrataMake. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StrataMake platform at stratamake.com, including our image and 3D model creation tools, the shop and made-to-order physical goods (3D prints and handcrafted plushie, wood, and metal pieces), build requests, and community features. Please read these terms carefully before using the Service.
By accessing or using StrataMake (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
You must provide a valid email address and create a username to register. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. One person or entity may not maintain more than one account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree not to: use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable; attempt to bypass content moderation or safety systems; use automated tools to access the Service without permission; reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service; impersonate any person or entity; upload malware or malicious content; use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
StrataMake provides AI-powered tools for generating images and 3D models. AI generation results may vary and are not guaranteed to meet specific expectations. Content generated through the Service may be subject to the usage policies of underlying AI model providers. Generated content that violates safety filters or content policies will be blocked. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before sharing or publishing it. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is free from errors, biases, or unintended patterns.
You retain ownership of original content you upload to StrataMake (prompts, reference images you own, etc.). AI-generated content ownership is subject to applicable laws and the terms of underlying AI model providers. By making content public on StrataMake, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote that content within the platform. You may set content visibility to private at any time. You must not upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others. We respect intellectual property rights and will respond to valid DMCA takedown requests.
Certain features require credits, which can be purchased through the platform. Credit purchases are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms of service. Credits are non-transferable between accounts. Unused credits do not expire unless your account is terminated. Refund policies for credits are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support for refund requests. Pricing for credits and subscriptions may change with notice.
Physical items can be ordered two ways: shop orders at posted prices (3D prints and handcrafted plushie, woodwork, and metal pieces) and custom build requests quoted by individual makers. StrataMake facilitates production and maker matching but does not directly manufacture items; independent makers and print providers build and ship orders. Shop prices are shown before purchase; build-request quotes are provided by individual makers and are subject to their terms. All payments are processed through our platform via Stripe. Handcrafted shop orders carry a match-or-refund promise: if we cannot match your order with a maker within 7 days of payment, you receive a full refund automatically (see the Refund Policy, section 5). Estimated production and shipping timelines are shown per medium and are estimates, not guarantees. Quality, shipping, and manufacturing disputes should be reported through our support system.
You may not request the manufacture of items that infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties, including trademarked or copyrighted characters, logos, and designs, unless you own those rights or have authorization from the rights holder. This applies regardless of framing: fan art, parody, homage, and personal-use requests based on third-party characters or brands are refused unless you can show authorization. By submitting a build request or purchasing any physical item, you represent that you own or have the rights to the design being manufactured. Borderline cases are reviewed individually and we make the final call before fulfillment; orders under review are paused, and refused orders are refunded. StrataMake and its makers may refuse or cancel any order that we reasonably believe infringes third-party intellectual property. Rights holders may report concerns through our support system; reported orders are paused pending review. Repeat infringement will result in account termination.
Public posts, comments, and shared content are subject to our community guidelines. Be respectful of other creators and their work. Do not post spam, promotional content, or irrelevant material. Content that violates our guidelines may be removed without notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. Third-party service dependencies (AWS, Stripe, AI providers, Cloudflare) may affect platform functionality. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.
StrataMake is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. We will delete your personal data within 30 days of account deletion, consistent with our Privacy Policy. Some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.
